Good Bye 2010
And yet again, another year has come to an end. Good times, bad times; happy times, sad times, it all vanishes into the sea of memories.
2010 passed in a glimpse of an eye. For all i know, I spent the first half of the year working hard at Costa. Had a photoshoot for Alina and Natalia, Anya and Mert right before the summer, and went to the States for my brother’s graduation. 2nd year started smoothly and was a tad too fast. First term ended without me knowing it, and here am I, updating my blog the day after returning from London. That basically sums up my year. I considered it a good year, not awesome but couldn’t ask for more. The following series are some of the photos I was supposed to post months ago, and I do appologise for my extreme laziness.
United States of America- June
10 June 2010. After having some minor problem with my finger prints at Washington Airport, me and my family arrived at Los Angeles Airport safely. Spent 2 weeks around California visiting various places (San Francisco, Hollywood, Universal Studio, Long Beach, Santa Monica) and attending my brother’s graduation. Enjoyed the sunshine and the time with my family, not to mention, the cheap bargains at the shopping outlets. After having denied entry to transit in Canada for our return flight to UK, we were forced to stay for another 2 days before boarding a direct flight back to UK. The images below are in no particular order.

St Ives- June
24th June 2010. Brought my parents to the beautiful town of St Ives. I’ve visited this same place for many times yet I never get bored of this place due to the beauty of the beaches and the fresh seafood.

Miya’s Farewell- 10th October 2010

Snow!- 20th December 2010
It snowed so heavily that over the weekend, Heathrow airport was closed down and many were stranded in the airport. For those of us that was not in a rush to go anywhere, we enjoyed playing with the snow and the beautiful sight of Exeter covered in white.

London-27th December 2010
Went to London for 3 days, mainly for shopping and also to walk around. There were sales everywhere and not surprisingly it was flooded with people. Although it was costly but what can I say, it’s Christmas ;) Photos below are taken with my iPhone, might not be of the best quality but that’s the best I got because I cant be bothered to take my camera out for shopping. Although I am planning to be back in London soon for some night photography.

Nonetheless, I hope you enjoyed 2010 as much as I did. I wish you best of health and all the best in 2011, may all your wishes come true. Stay tuned for more from JoelKhaw Photography. Happy New Year people!! Cheers!
With Love,
JoelKhaw
