Lastolite Lumen8 F400

Finally, my long awaited Lastolite Lumen8 arrived yesterday. I was so excited that I actually woke early just to wait for the delivery man to come. The kit comes with 2 400w/s flash heads, 2 brollies, 2 air cushioned light stands and 2 carry bag. I bought the kit with a radio trigger but unfortunately i have not received it yet, apparently the trigger was out of stock and i have to wait for another week, what a disappointment. Anyway, I am more than happy with the flash head itself.

The good thing about the Lumen8 flash is that it could fit an extensive range of light modifiers which feature the popular S type bayonet fitting. Not to mention there is already a wide range of accessories available from Lastolite. The only downside i’ve noticed is that the sync cable does not fit properly on my camera, but this shouldn’t be a problem after I get my radio trigger.
